Rush DKE!

In Delta Kappa Epsilon, as a pledge and then as a Brother, you will a find unique sense of friendship, chivalry, and brotherhood in our Fraternity, by joining an open-minded, social, and active group of young men who share a similar set of ideals.  Dekes exemplify a code of silence and trust, and strive to improve academically and athletically. We respect and embrace the individual, as our brothers come from a diverse set of backgrounds.  A decision to join our Fraternity is one that lasts a lifetime, as our bonds extend far beyond the walls of Duke University, and for longer than the college years.  Delta Kappa Epsilon is a well-known and respected Fraternity, having founded over 90 chapters across the United States and in Canada, after fifteen young men established our first chapter at Yale University in 1844.  Over the years, our brothers have gone on to serve the community in many different ways, including alumni such as five U.S. Presidents, an astronaut, football coaches such as Don Shula and Joe Paterno, financiers such as J.P. Morgan and Robert Lehman, and a Nobel Prize winner in Medicine.

Brotherhood is the foundation of all that we are. To a member of DKE, the motto, “Friends from the Heart, Forever," is not an empty phrase: in Epsilon Rho you will meet lifelong friends, as the DKE bonds of camaraderie, common experience, shared ideals, and mutual support will forge ties that last.  Should you choose to join our Fraternity, prepare for the experience of a lifetime.
